If you are in the massage business, a portable massage chair is a worthwhile investment. Most massage parlor uses massage tables. But there are people who are feel uneasy when they are lying down. This can be difficult for both you and your client as he will be tense throughout the session and you will have a hard time trying to loosen those tight muscles because of this.

Certain people dislike the feeling of helplessness when they are lying down. For some it is due to trauma, such as sexual abuse; in others, it is psychological where they don’t want to relinquish the sense of power; and in others they feel uneasy when they do not know what is happening around them especially when they are in the prone position. It is best to give them a massage using a portable massage chair.

The portable massage chair is also best for clients with diseases that makes it difficult for them to lie down in a prone position and get up after that. An example is arthritis, where it is difficult to climb up the table as well as to get up from a prone or a lying down position. Another disease is asthma where it is difficult to breathe when lying flat. Another condition is obesity where it is difficult to move from one position to another and uncomfortable when in a prone position.

People in wheelchairs will also find that being in a portable massage chair, it is easier to maneuver than using a massage table. You can also offer massage to pregnant women who cannot get into a prone position but badly needs a back and shoulder massage.

Having a portable massage chair would make you able to serve all kinds of people, even those with special needs. Usually these people belong to a support group to whom you would be recommended if they are satisfied with your services.

If you get lucky and bag a corporate contract, you may be required to render some services at the office. A portable massage chair is handy to carry around to give mini massages for the neck back and shoulders of tired employees.

You can promote your business by taking your portable massage chair in a public area where people are on their feet most of the day like the mall. They wouldn’t mind shelling out $15 to $25 for a quick massage to give their feet a boost after a long trek. Another good idea is to participate market events like trade fairs where you can showcase your services. In charity events like fund raising marathons, you can offer your services for free. This will put your name and business in good standing with the community giving you a viral marketing for your business.

With many designs to choose from, the portable massage chair is a valuable addition to your business by giving you the mobility to bring your business to a lot of places.
